There’s nothing we love more than spoiling our dog Rambo. He’s at the heart of our family is always the one loving us back unconditionally. Seeing him happy, healthy, wagging his tail and filled with joy makes us happy. One of our favorite things to do is to spoil him with delicious homemade treats, topped with his favorite Old Mother Hubbard all-natural dog biscuits. He loves the treats on their own, but every once in a while we love baking up a delicious surprise and coming up with fun ways to treat him. One of our best recipes has been breakfast waffles with Old Mother Hubbard all-natural dog biscuits! I’m sharing the recipe below.
When choosing dog treats and food for Rambo, we always look for all-natural ingredients because we only want what’s best for him. This has led us, time and time again to Old Mother Hubbard! Rambo’s two favorite flavors are the Original Assortment Dog Biscuits and the P-Nuttier Dog Biscuits!
Since having kids, it’s not always easy to give Rambo the attention he used to get when he was alone in our home, so I love finding creative ways to involve the kids in activities with him! Baking is definitely one of them. My son, Zane, loves to help me in the kitchen and seeing how happy Rambo is with his baked goodies puts a smile on my face, Zane’s and Rambo’s!
Old Mother Hubbard Original Assortment Dog Biscuits
Old Mother Hubbard P-Nuttier Dog Biscuits
1 cup oatmeal
1 banana, very ripe
1 egg
2/3 cup of peanut butter
We only ever feed Rambo Old Mother Hubbard Oven-Baked Dog Biscuits because their all-natural ingredients make us feel as though we’re giving Rambo what’s best for him. Old Mother Hubbard has been around since 1926 and they’ve perfected their craft. Their biscuits are slowly oven-baked so the natural flavors are preserved, making them delicious and such a treat for your pet.

Heat up your non-stick waffle iron. Make batter by mixing together oatmeal, banana, egg and 1/3 of the peanut butter in a bowl.
When waffle iron is ready, add batter and cook. Once waffles are golden brown, remove and use cookie cutters to cut into fun shapes.
Put the remaining peanut butter in a ziplock bag and cut the corner to easily squeeze peanut butter on the bottom of your Old Mother Hubbard all-natural dog treats and stick them to waffles. Decorate the top of your waffles and treats with some extra peanut butter! They are ready to be served and enjoyed by your furry pets!
